No Show / Late

If you're 5+ minutes late, there will be at minimum a $5 charge.

Out of respect for all clients' time and to keep the schedule running smoothly, we can only accommodate up to ten (10) minutes of lateness regardless of the service booked.

Whether you schedule a 30-minute or 1-hour appointment, arriving more than 10 minutes late will result in your appointment being canceled.

Canceled appointments due to late arrival are considered missed appointments and will be charged in full.

If payment method is not on file, the full cost of the missed service will be required before you are allowed to rebook a future appointment.

If you are late and need to reschedule or no-show, prepayment will be required for any future appointments.

Due to high demand for appointments and the value of each time slot, first time clients who no-show will no longer be able to book future appointments at The Barber Society.
Shear Work

If a haircut is over 50% shear work, the haircut will be at minimum $42, the specialty haircut price.

Most of Nik's work is focused on short styles, fades, and barbering techniques. That being said, if you're interested in booking a long haircut with Nik, we need to connect first to make sure that he's the right fit for what you're looking for. We may advise you to see another barber in the shop that has more expertise in that area.

Before scheduling, please email, text or DM us so we can set up a quick consultation. This way, we can understand your goals, discuss what's possible and make sure you get the best result for your hair.
Illness
For the health and safety of everyone in the shop, we do not work while sick and ask the same of our clients.

If you are experiencing symptoms of illness (including fever, vomiting, flu-like symptoms, or any contagious condition), please do not attend your appointment. You will need to be rescheduled for a time when you are no longer sick.

If you become ill and are unable to cancel at least three (3) hours before your appointment, please still notify us as soon as possible to let us know you are sick. While we will reschedule your appointment, payment for the missed appointment may still be required in accordance with the cancellation policy.

Clients who arrive visibly ill or disclose illness at the time of the appointment may be asked to leave and reschedule. In these cases, the appointment will be considered missed and subject to applicable charges.
The military discount is exclusively available for active duty members and reservists.

Family members of military personnel and retired service members will be charged the standard civilian rates applicable to their chosen haircut.
